"What present do I want"?

Jingle bell,jingle bell~Christmas is coming,and time for thinking about "what present do I want".A few days ago,my mum asked me this question.I didn't really thought about it actually,but at least it is impossible to asked her to buy me a new computer as it will be very expensive,and the computer that i've been using is still working nicely for me.So I turn my target on accessory.What I mean "accessory" isn't jewllery or stuff like that,but some sort of things like mouse,headphone,etc.

The mouse that I wanna get is Logitech Performance Mouse MX as it looks cool and much featured than my MX 620 Cordless laser mouse(another reason is that my MX 620 has become uglier and uglier due to whateva reasons...)...

Another great choice will be "Notebook speakers".I have Dell Studio XPS 16,the sound quality is good but nothing compare to normal speakers.At least the bass is not enough for me...so I wanna buy some new speakers.But they must be notebook speakers,not those desktop speakers.Logitech's Z-5 or Z520 can be a great choice,but i'm still finding some cheaper one,with lower price.

What about headphone?Well, I think my Philips SHE9700 is enough for me,no need to buy high-end headphone like 9850,or even more high-end headphones....

Anyway,I still have time to think about presents.Let's hope that I can make a good choice before Christmas!

Do you like desktop customizing??

The day when I know what is "Desktop Customizing",I started to customize my desktop as unique as I can.I remembered that I used to use "Vista Transformation Pack(I remember that it was version 7!!)to give myself a Vista look.

But for now,I don't use VTP anymore,that's just becuz I have Vista Ultimate and 7!(There's not point to transform Vista into Vista,right?lol),so what do I use to customize the desktop?

For now,I use "Rainmeter","Rocketdock","Fences" and some nice themes+wallpapers to create a killer desktop for myself.Thx for those articles in lifehacker.com,I discover that lovely rainmeter program....it basically gives you some system meters such as CPU,RAM usage,the partition space left,and many other things.I LOVE USING IT!

What about Fences?I will be making a video about it,but let's talk about a little bit about it.It's a product from Stardock,the greatest desktop utilities manufacturer,popular products like "Windowblinds" is one of their proud product.Fences is basically a software that allows you to create "boxes" on your desktop,so that you can put all the icons into it for cleaner desktop.It also provide you with teh functions to hide the icons with just double-click!Extremely convenient!

Rainmeter?Maybe I will make a video about it...but trust me,it's gonna be funnier for you to discover this piece of software by yourself.Also download "Enigma Desktop" for your rainmeter,so that you can create your own desktop!

Windows 7 RTM

Have just installed the RTM version one day before,but don't seems to see any changes....it's still smooth,fast,EZ to use.And not sure what's the reason,I got a better result in the graphics sessions than the RC and Beta version...but the final scores is still 5.1,due to the 7200RPM 320GB HDD.

I have it activated with some special softwares,and NO,I won't tell you how to get this copy of Windows 7,and how to activate it....hehe.

Problems can be hard.But it can also be easy.

A few days ago,I was helping a girl on YouTube about losing Aero theme on Vista.She left comment on my video and even sent me videos about her situation(Truthfully,I don't recognize that it was a girl's voice even I was watching and listening to the video.I think that's just a very young kid talking to me ;P)She didn't actually mentioned that if my previous video has helped her(yes,I have a video about Aero).But anyway,I replied her with another video about more solutions to get back aero but that didn't seem to help her,so she made another video showing me that my solutions didn't work...

But here comes the answer.The problem wasn't caused by the DWM thing or something like that,but just because of she lost the Aero.I mean there wasn't an "Aero" folder inside the "resources\themes",so she couldn't of course have Aero...Orz

Sometimes,problem might not be cause by any big thing,but just some very little things.This story tells me,think easy before think difficult....

So good to use Dual Monitor!!

I LOVE DUAL MONITOR!!

The image above is actually a screenshot of my dual monitor.It's really fun to see the window move between Monitors .That's really cool.However,there's a little bad thing is that,the taskbar is not extended to my external monitor.In other words,I can only have the taskbar running on one monitor just like this picture.

Besides that,I have problem when trying to make my external monitor to have same colours as my notebook monitor.The reason is that,the ext monitor is actually quite old.It's a Compaq FP768A,so the colour will of course be worse.When I'm doing settings like contrast,brightness and blah blah blah,I find it really impossible to make the monitor the same.That's just like when you open a white picture on each screen,you can find that ext monitor display the colour to be a little bit yellow...

Anyway,it worth trying really.I hope I will have a chance to taste triple monitor...hehe

Microsoft's new security suite:Moron?

OK I know of course it's impossible for Microsoft to give a name like this for their products.Microsoft has recently released a new security suite called "Microsoft Security Essentials"(still in testing stage) which is used to replace it's old security suite "Windows Live Onecare",codename "Morro".Umm,if you wanna download it,sorry.That damn Microsoft had already stopped the downloading and the downloading had just been last for only 1 day!In other words,you can't get it from Microsoft,instead you need to find it on the internet by yourself,and that's just what I've done.It doesn't used up too much resources.When it's running(not scanning),it only uses about 6MB of memory,which is quite small.

Anyway,the new "Moron" antivirus is still in beta stage.I think there will be more new functions and features in the final version.Remember,Moron is a free software(or of course u can call it Freeware),and if it' powerful enough,we won't need to get other antivirus.U know,people hates paying.And if they don't wanna pay,they will get themself cracks or cracked version,however those versions may contain some nasty virus.It's that ridiculous for you to donwload an antivirus with virus in it?STUP!D.
